So I want tidal charm so I can Nova, charm, shatter combo into snap, Nova, imp CS and shatter combo again. But tidal charm is so hard to get, anyone know of another instant CC that won’t break Nova?
I can’t think of anything instant off the top of my head, but linkin’s boomerang has a cast that’s shorter than the gcd and has a chance of stunning, along with engi grenades which also have a cast speed right around the gcd time (and can be casted while moving). I don’t think there’s any trinkets or items that cc that are off the gcd
Six demon Bag has a chance to sheep the target. Also has a chance to throw a fireball, and do some other stuff.

It’s not a trinket but u could farm sleep dust off the elementals in westfall. Instant cast, long cc

Do they drop those in classic? I tried farming a handful and no luck. Is it a low drop rate or something? I killed around 10 before giving up. Maybe I just got unlucky.
They should exist in classic, the tornado looking elementals. Low drop rate yea 
Why don’t you just go engineering and get a net gun? It’s basically a 2nd nova on a 10m CD, much faster than charm. There’s also the rocket helm and mind control cap.
There’s also nets/dust from westfall, no gear slot is used, but they are consumables. Farming them is quite annoying as horde on PVP. Blizzard, giving the shaft to horde as usual, gave us no comparable zone to obtain these things.
