Probably not, but the superbloom, 5 seeds and the 1.5k rep weeklies in the Emerald Dream basically already do that. Since they give LFR quality gear.
Although being able to pick the slots you want would be nice, like how the Dreamsurge and the Time rifts allow you to. Instead of playing the RNG game, like the Fyrakk Assaults.
i mean giving tokens that can be upgraded to heroic. dreamsurge did that in 1.7
but i doubt 2.7 will be a catch up itll be season 4
Didn’t see anything on ptr that was giving steady heroic raid quality gear like surges did. Makes perfect sense since we are still fairly early into the tier.
There is a patch 10.2.6. That is most likely when you’ll see heroic raid quality catch up gear.
