Is there any difference between resourcefulness and multi-craft mats?

Is there any mathematical difference between using a +300 Resourcefulness mat and a +300 multi-craft mat? I’ve been meaning to experiment with this but haven’t Yet. Has anyone else?

I tend to use resourcefulness mostly, on the chance that it will save one of the expensive mats.

Multicraft is always better, but keep in mind some crafts dont even have posibility to multicraft, like enchants.

Thanks, good to know. I’ll try that. I’m often using guild bank mats to crank out food or potions to refiill the raid tab, and so I’m always trying to avoid going to the AH.
