So, I know the woes of the Druid specs, some lack severely in performance, others in mechanics. I can’t say I’m satisfied with the state that those specs are right now, despite seemingly positive changes on the horizon.
Then, out of curiosity, I kind of roamed every class forum, and all I see is doom and gloom about their class/specs.
Which makes me wonder: there’s really no class without a lot of dissatisfaction to some aspect or another in the game?
Warlocks got it pretty good.
So long as mage gets new stuff, or rehashed stuff for experimentation, I’m good with it.
Mages. Love the hell out of them right now. Warlocks seem pretty rad as well, though I’ve not played too much of them yet. Warriors, I don’t really have any complaints. I’ve been playing one of mine as prot mountain thane and hot damn, it’s amazing.
Is there any class that forum posters are truly satisfied with?
it varies with their messing with classes/specs. Once theyve screwed them up enough I lose interest…such as removing Life Tap way back when. Totally killed the spec for me. I just stopped playing it entirely when they took LT away.
Conversely, I used to hate Demonology, but since I initially tried it theyve made some changes that make it a lot of fun to play.
IF they screw it up again, I’ll park or delete my warlocks or swap to Destruction if its still playable.
Beastmaster seems to be the only spec I can keep coming back to that isnt entirely ruined at some point or another so far.
I mostly just play whatever Im having fun with and park the rest.
I like DK, it’s the only class I’ve seriously played with wrath
I just want some of the attention other people get
I’ve been happy with my Mage, Rogue, DK, and Shaman this expac.
I really enjoy my warlock and my paladin.
i think most people are okay with rogue, at least on the pve side.

Overall yeah, but there’s a couple of minor tweaks I’d like to see for Destro/Aff.
Well, they don’t get a lot of that.

I was mostly referring to how GD is so full of people with no clue what their talking about, to the point that blizzard really should be ignoring about 90% of GD.
It’s still good in PvP. All about picking your shots and working your CC.
I love Berserk popping a backline healer hehehe.
I am overall happy with Paladin, and I got what I wanted. Back in S1 of DF I said “if blizz fixes ret and I get one good season I will be happy”…and then I got 3 good seasons so I’m good. If I were nerfed now I’d still be happy because ret plays so much better now than it did S1 DF.
As for other specs, I would like some love given to feral, yes numbers-wise they can do well but I don’t know, I want something different in their dps kit. I don’t know what and I don’t know what I would change, as I’m not a super smart dev, but it’s not hitting the full battle cat fantasy for me. But that’s just me.
Absolutely fair! I think everyone deserves love from time to time, and there are a couple things I personally wouldn’t mind changed on DK. HOT TAKE INCOMING - I don’t like abomination limb. I do not like grip utility being tied to a dps cooldown. There, I said it, and I feel better.
I wonder about this too.
I have a pattern when it comes to alts.
1 - roll character
2 - level it up
3 - decide I’m having enough fun with it and like the aesthetics, class fantasy, and play style enough to actually look for information to try and get better at it
4 - go to forums/reddit to discuss the class and ask questions
5 - discover that everyone hates the class/spec, “it’s the worst in the game”, needs a complete rework, etc.
(Currently on step 5 with Demon Hunter lol)
Shaman is pretty good.
Class forums is mostly based around wanting a tank spec, wanting 2h back, or more customization.
Which generally means the current gameplay is liked.
Granted. I dont expect class forums to really have in depth gameplay discussions. The DF tier voting let me know how many people dont understand the basics of the class.
