Not interested in playing shaman, and it seems like a sword and board pvp build for warrior would be better than paladin. Is it viable? I dont know how much the hero talents change the class since I havent had access to the beta, but i know at least on live its not good.
You can play prot warrior, but it is certainly in the running for worst pvp spec and I don’t believe that’s going to change in TWW.
How much that matters really depends on what your ambitions are. High rated RBG teams wont touch you because a guardian druid fills your role 20x better, and everyone in arena will lament having you on their team.
But if you just want to queue up some random BGs, Blitz, or even just world pvp, prot is not unplayable. You basically auto win against any physical DPS class in a 1v1. Dragon Charge is a ton of fun to use. You probably have the highest burst damage of any tank, even if it’s still really low damage.
It’s pretty fun to play in epic BGs, and any tank can be really good to have in AV. You’ll just be doing more disruption than face smashing.

going into TWW it looks like prot will be a meme that machine guns out massive executes because they just buffed prots (already massive) execute by 50%
