I am so ookin’ tired of Khadgar’s floating head always being up in my business when I’m in Acherus. And his quest to get rid of him is so vague. “Recover the Tears of Elune from Val’sharah”. So, what, I’m supposed to go though the whole zone to get rid of this guy? Or find the next quest in the chain and then leave it in my log forever?
Look, I wouldn’t mind so much if he wasn’t right on top of me the whole time. Give me some space, dude!
There’s a Runeforge tucked away in the NW corner of the Seat of the Primus. Just past the Forge of Bonds.

Seat of the Primus has a runeforge but you have to go necrolord and why wouldn’t you? The Primus imagined you in his mind and the jailer ripped that memory out and used it. Daddy Primus got you covered.
It works. It definitely works. DKs can avoid floating Khadgar head forever! You can also quest in icecrown and unlock the shadow vault. It has runeforges too.
It’s not actually that hard to get rid of the floating head thingie. IIRC, just take his quest, go to the follow up quest, then either finish or abandon that one.
Except that last time I tried getting rid of his annoying floating head there didn’t seem to be a follow up quest. I mean, there must be, right? But I couldn’t find it.
