Amazon has an Untitled WoW Hardcover book for (November 2026). Is it actually a book coming or is this is incorrect on the website?
Iâve heard we have a book about dragons coming.
Well if it is taking that long to come out then it must be written by George R R Martin. That guy has a habit of taking half a decade or more to finish some of his books.
I just got 3 new books from the store though. All hard covers. Going to order some more soon.
I hope not, pretty sick of vital lore that SHOULD be told to us in-game instead being sold to us via books almost no one bothers to read.
What was the vital lore of the last 2 books?
I agree. I donât remember vital lore in the previous Shadowlands book. It was more about Sylvanas then the actual zones.
That book was everyone hates Sylvanas. Nothing happened.
Great. One of the last quests I ran the NPC had a line - âI just love breaking things into little pieces, donât you?â
Her entire domain is being taken over, her Queen under assault, her entire little grove dominated by monsters with red bars, and sheâs standing around quipping like itâs no big deal. Itâs like the content creators just gave up.
If THEY are the ones writing a book, donât expect it to be on a bestseller list. This game is such a steaming pile anymore - if it werenât for the nostalgia, and all of us trying to recover the fun we admittedly did have once an age ago, this place would be so dead.
I saw that as well on Amazon. Seems too weird: by now, there should be something to show about the upcoming story. I just hope the game itself make changes in the geography - and not in canon - Kudos to the Warlock above my comment: He is right, yâall. Having people write books but without the depth, then it will be a waste of money for us, but gain for Blizz. Seems fishy âWorld of Warcraft Harcover Bookâ with no information about it.
They already have the books on dragonflight ,dawn of the aspects.etcâŚits a seriesâŚ
Thatâs not even a book, thatâs coming up a title for page 1 at this point.
The lava eel vore was CRITICAL in understanding Arthas and the Jailer
I agree that the story should be told through the game but I also enjoy reading or at least listening to audio books while I work. Iâm hoping for a new novel before or around the launch of DF.
yeah, Itâs a prequel novel to Dawn of the Aspects and Thrall, Twilight of the Aspects. Itâs set to release in November but it doesnât have a name or a cover yet.
Unless when the use the word âprequelâ to discribe it, they are saying it will prequel all exisiting wow novels, ie, take place in the past.
games for playing , books for lore in my opinion . Ghostcrawler said that if telling teh story ingame affects gameplay then gameplay will win every time .
Also you can tell teh story far more indepth in a book . I would imagine that to tell teh story ingame that you get in a book would be 10s of thousands of quests . books are great .
I think the books are nicer when its not like. HIGHLY important for understanding villain motives.
If we got to see more of the book stuff in Shadowlands then I think Sylv would be way more tolerable. Heck I think the Jailer in the book said more dialogue on one page than the entire run he had in Shadowlands.
âHow can we turn understanding the plot into a DLC?â
-Danuser, probably
Tell me more.
Iâve been wondering this the last week as Iâve been re reading some WoW books. I havenât bothered to look it up. I hope so
