I still love the game after all these years. However, I am currently having a problem with in-game popups. For example, when a boss trash talks in dungeons. It’s very bothersome and frustrating. I would like a way to turn them on when I want but also be able to turn off in-game popups.
~ Please, Is there a way to turn off in-game popups when I want to temporarily?

You might want to look at an addon, as Blizzard doesn’t have anything native to block the “pop ups”. Check Curseforge
It’s called the Talking Head Frame, and Curse has a few addons to suppress it.

That is the one I use, and it works as is, no setup involved. All it does is prevent the popup from happening.
If you want to disable it and see the popups at any time, just go Esc > Addons > uncheck it and do a /reload.
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/talkingheadframe_settings is similar, but has a few options to adjust the settings of the Talking Head Frame if you’d prefer that.
