Is there an addon that

…makes the pets you haven’t collected yet, stand out somehow without having to mouse over them to see if it’s 0/1?

Even the basic Pet Journal list has filters that’ll let you see only collected or non-collected pets. Has a few other filter options too.

I’d recommend though getting the Rematch add-on, it’s my go-to for pretty much anything pet related.

Sorry for the confusion, but you aren’t even remotely understanding what I’m asking. Let me try to give you a different scenario…

As I’m out and about in the wow world, I see pets around me… and I’m wondering ‘do I have that pet?’ Well, I can mouse over the pet, and it’ll tell me how many of that pet I have, if any. Whether that’s a default function or a Zygor function, I’m unsure. I just know if I mouse over a pet, it’ll tell me 0/3 if I don’t have any; 1/3 if I have one; 2/3 if I have two of them, etc.

I’d like an easier way to tell if the pets around me are ones I’ve collected without having to take time to mouse over them. It’d be cool if, for instance, pets I haven’t collected yet appear… gosh I don’t know… bigger or have an outline or a bigger nameplate or have a floating sign saying ‘u no hav dis pet!’ Whatever. Just something that passively indicates that a pet near me is one that isn’t collected yet.

It’s not a massively big deal, it’d just be a neat little QoL improvement.

Check the PetTracker addon, that might be what you’re looking for. You can have it show all the possible spawn points of each wild pet and there are filters to only show the ones you still haven’t captured in that zone.

Seems useful, thanks.

Rarity or CollectMe (i cant remember which one or both) I believe also lets you know in a tooltip which you have if you have one and the rarity.

If we are thinking the same thing, I love this one. There is a list on screen that shows what you do and do not have, plus the grade they are. The locations on the map are cluttered when you have just “species” selected (it shows everything). There is a search window to narrow things down by what you need or to find that special pet’s location that only appears in one or two places in the zone.
