Is there an addon that does this?

So far I haven’t been able to find this but I just want an addon that will put a note in the pop-up that appears whenever you hover over an item (in this case, a crafting material), that will tell you what expansion it’s from/for. Anyone know an addon that does that?

I don’t know of a simple add-on that does only what you want, but TradeSkillsMaster (TSM) will certainly provide the capability for you to import pre-existing group definitions (e.g., Shadowlands (SL) Crafting Mats) or make your own groups. See the yellow box below highlighting that Shrouded Cloth is a “SL Crafting Mat.”
