Is there an Addon that detects the weather?

I have to capture the silithid pet from Tanaris to finish the Pet Collection Meta. Is there an Addon or UI method to detect the weather in Tanaris even if I’m not in the zone?

I don’t think there even is a way to detect the weather while in the zone (unless by /targeting the silithid pet)

Weather probability is rolled for when you zone into a new area. If weather intensity is too low then no weather shows up at all. If it is high you should see weather depending on how high you have your weather Density Cvar set.

I actually went out and hunted for weather ; the most reliable method I was able to come up with is to simply zone in and out of a particular area until you get the weather you want (with weather Density tuned up high)

Thanks for the detailed guide on how to detect weather in a zone! Although it is more work than just logging in and out. But it is a well written and detailed guide.
