Is there an addon that blocks LFG and Trade ads?

You know, ads for boosts and paid runs and stuff. Is there an addon that makes it so I don’t have to look at them?

Because if Blizzard isn’t gonna do anything, I may as well see if something can be done on my end without straight up Ignoreing a ton of people

Does that work in the group finder as well? From what I see thats just a chat blocker

I believe Prat chat addon also allows you to block things like this, via custom chat filters that you yourself set, plus it has tons of optional features that are easily enabled/disabled. Not sure about many of those features though, I only use a few… so I’m not sure about group finder anything-whatchamacallit.

I believe it is called /leave Trade. And a fun system called reporting ads in LFG.

Someone already said it, but BadBoy is the best option.

It blocks more than just LFG stuff and carry ads too. You can also have it block all the racist and homophobic stuff too as well as all the Trump trolls.

Thanks for the non-answer, but if I wanted to leave trade that I would have 3 expansions ago

And if reporting did anything this wouldn’t be a problem. Its so prolific because people know Blizz won’t do anything.

i didn’t realize half assed answers are liked here. so here is an answer for ur next post, if there is ANY problem with the game → Uninstall. Thats the ‘correct one’ for guys like you.

dont care if he died in october, i came in expecting some solution for the title question. instead there are some trashcans giving useless replies.

and i dont see why this post cant go longer since the problem is still very much there

Yes, I got it mainly for group finder and it works in both straight out of the box. Just install and it will do it’s thing. You can configure it if you find messages still getting thru to include key words they are using.
