just like the title says. i know tradeskillmaster does it, but i don’t need an entire professions suite just for one task…
There is probably an addon for this. I don’t have a recommendation off the top of my head.
There are probably a few ways to automate milling.
What item are you trying to process?
Think we’ve had mass milling/prospecting recipes since WoD.
You can always just build a macro for anything that doesn’t have a mass milling recipe.
/use MIlling
/use _HERBNAME_
I don’t know if they added it for lower level herbs, but I know more recent herbs have a skill that lets you mill them in groups.
I use an addon called Molinari. Alt-Click and it mills, prospects, unlocks boxes, etc…

what i want is an addon that will make a button i can put on my actionbars somewhere that i can click, which will mill all the herbs in my bags, or prospect all the ore when i’m on my miner
a fantastic addon
you can do this with a macro
#herbalism macro
/cast milling
/use dreamleaf
/use sea stalk
/use herb name
/user herb name
#mining macro
/cast prospect
/use ore name
/use ore name
/use ore name
then just put the macro on a key. only caveat with this is it doesn’t work if you have partial stacks. if you have like, 12 ore. you will prospect twice then it will be all “you don’t have enough ore”.
will that keep milling and prospecting until it gets down to the last stack, or will i have to keep clicking and clicking and clicking?
no, but nothing will. milling/prospecting/disenchanting can’t be auto cast like ink making (for example)

/cast “prospect” will not work as of 9.1.5.
The skill is called “Prospecting”. I just tried it.
So its:
