There’s a pinned post on Wowhead that has an import for the new Edit Mode that rearranges it to look like stock UI.

I don’t want the classic layout, I want the classic assets back. My old ui was already pretty similar to the modern layout, just with the old assets like the menu bar not just being all similar greyscale icons. Being able to revert the nameplate back to the top left corner doesn’t change the fact it still looks awful.

Bartender can give you the old actionbar art back, but not the rest. In Shadowlands there was an addon called ClassicUI but the developer said it needs to be completely rewritten for Dragonflight, so it’s going to be at least a few weeks and possibly more than a month before it’s fixed. In SL ClassicUI only replaced the actionbar but for DF they’re planning to include many of the other UI elements that were changed.

Good to hear. I actually like a lot of the features of the new ui like moving and scaling things, more action bars etc. But a lot of the new art just feels really bland and not warcraft, keeping these features but with the old art assets with addons will be great!

It will never be finished. You can’t legally redistribute old artwork and massive chunks of interface code which blizzard holds the copyright to.
The old actionbar art is still in the WoW files (Bartender uses it), so I wouldn’t be surprised if the unit frame, map art, etc is all still there somewhere too.

I know the MicroButton art for example got flat out replaced with the “dull grey” option. Then there’s still the part of the interface code. We’re not talking about minor tweaks to current frames here, which is what ClassicUI was. They rewrote like half the user interface and replaced it with more modern code.
The old art is still in the files, someone has released an addon using it:

Quick bump on the off-chance someone has a non-bartender suggestion to throw into the mix
there’s an addon called “ClassicUI” but its currently broken due to the new UI in DF. the creator of the addon is currently working on fixing it for the new expansion, but it may take quite a while. fingers crossed its an easy enough fix that he/she gets it up and running in no time.
I made a Weak Aura that adds the old gryphons back. You have to hide the gryphons in the new UI. If you use different bar layout just change which action button the left and right gryphon anchors to.
