Umm… I’m thinking that there is no historical data on patch releases that would give any kind of indication that we won’t see the next patch until 7 months from now.
Could we get a explanation as to why Kul Tiran humans have considerably less customization options then Zandalari Trolls? Last I checked KT humans have less customization then regular humans while Ztrolls have the most customization options of any non demon hunter.
I can’t reply to Teufelgott because he deletes comments. If you need charts and excel sheets to prove to you that most players play WoW for the core content (Raids, Dungeons, PVP) then you need help.
Because, as is normal, KT humans didn’t get started until ZTrolls were already complete because, as usual the Horde comes first at Blizzard.
Sort of like how a full heal made sense as a racial ability in any context whatsoever, but we’re already getting notes that the KT knockback is being disabled in PvP because reasons.
IIRC the Zandalari were announced at the Blizzcon panel with the likes of void elves and dark iron, and were originally slated for an 8.0 release before they were replaced by Mag’har. Whereas Kul Tirans weren’t announced until later and it was always clear they weren’t going to be in 8.0 for story reasons.
So Zandalari fans have in fact been waiting longer, though not necessarily with more or less intensity.
All that matters to me is that I have a concrete release date and time-frame. That is literally all I’ve been wanting from day one. Longer than expected? Of course. But can I forgive this? Absolutely. All I ask is communication so I can in turn communicate with my guild-mates and we can plan accordingly.
Perhaps, but I’m not the one who apparently believes everything they read on the internet and who takes every “I don’t like this” post in a game forum as proof that near the entirety of the player base of said game also “don’t like this”.
If you truly love WoW, then don’t ignore the shortcomings and blindly accept a sub-par product. Instead, agitate like hell to make the game even better. In the end, a passive customer base will never receive the same attention compared to one that reasonably articulates what they want changed, and keeps up the pressure until it happens.
I am making rhetorical statements, so there is no need to supply official spreadsheets from Activision-Blizzard. In the peak of WoW, there were no ‘side games’ like war fronts and expeditions. There was well structured core content, and competition around it. And I’m sorry, but if you see the same topics, over and over again from the playbase on numerous forums then clearly there is a some kind of consensus. If you want side games- go on your phone and play candy crush, because most WoW players above the ‘extreme casual’ level, will GLADLY trade island expeditions and war fronts away for more/better core content.
Look, I have zero issues with this xpac nor any of the 7 prior ones. I’ve been here since 2005 and played the crap out of this game…until I run out of things to do, then I play something else while subbed.
Of course I don’t have high-end raid experience, top level gear or nothing like that but I am a collector of things. Collect alts, pets, mounts, HKs, things to wear kinda, achievement points, etc. I have lots of things to do everyday. That’s all I want from a game and WoW fulfills that requirement perfectly.
I don’t need to badger the developer nor complain til my fingers bleed nor cause drama and emotional trauma on the forums for Nothing in the game.
Don’t need Anything changed. As long as they keep making big patches and new xpacs and I can login to play, I don’t care what shortcomings you and others may see in today’s game. I have no problems with BfA.
It’s all transitory, it’s all virtual, it’s all Just A Game. Relax and play or go away.
For some reason I thought it was still a month or so away. Sadly I’m really in no position to do anything other than unlock Kul Tirans. The Zandalari druid is going to have to wait if ever.
The questing part on the horde side is pretty easy, especially if you gear up a bit first, so if you just hit max level and focus on the Zandalari emissaries you’ll start getting pretty close before you know it!
I peppered Island Expeditions throughout the level of one of my characters and I was max level while only being half done with the chapters. I didn’t sit down and crunch through it but just sprinkled a bit of time here and there and it worked pretty well. That said, I like that you are ready to go for kul tiran, I can’t wait!
An expansion feature is being added 7 months after the expansion was released. I can’t wait for Blizzard to finally add flying when the content is no longer relevant.
While you’re at it make every piece of gear we wear a Heart of Azeroth so we can do boring fun world quests to fill up a bar!
If it helps, i got 1500 rep or so from the WQ emissary for the Zandalari . if id guess one of those per week , for some reason i remember me maybe getting two a few times, 4 weeks youll have minimum 6k rep from emissaries alone.
If you get the two per week itll be like 12k. Max 3-4 monthes from just doing emissaries alone to get the exalted. Cuz i think i was like at the start of honored or midways maybe by the time i was done with all of the quests. With the inscription item that gives ya Rep for whatever faction while you do world quests itll go even faster if you do every single world quest too. Got it in 2 monthes or less.
Let me lay out my situation and see if this helps anyone else.
I have 4 max level Alliance characters, and then 6 allied race alts. Around the beginning of BfA I faction transferred my warlock to Horde in order to finish Nightborne and Highmountain unlocks. I also got Mag’har unlocked while I was there and then faction transferred back.
So now, back to the allied race alts. The highest level one on Horde side is a level 46 Nightborne mage I am leveling for the heritage armor. So what I’d need to do is level her to max, and get the rep and quest lines finished and then unlock.
I’ve been cycling though all 6 alts only with rested xp and it’s been a little slow. Maybe I need to change how I’m leveling.
The other choice is to faction transfer again - I’d rather not.
And no one asked you to. You still have no data or statistics to back up your claims. You may be right, I didn’t actually say you weren’t. You still don’t speak for anyone but yourself. You do not know what “most WoW players” do.
Oh really? Well… This isn’t the “peak of WoW”. This is “instant gratification for everyone who logs in” time.
A lot, even if not “most”, of players do the “side games” including TMog, collectibles, archaeology, crafting, and…wait for it… PvP. Pet Battles…probably the most “side game” side game of all is enormously popular. Whoda thunk that??? I mean the forums hate Pet Battles, right?
“Side games” aren’t just the things you don’t like. They are anything that would be considered “not end game” and they have been around since the beginning of time on Azeroth and will always be around. I would venture to bet that “most players”, even if they hate Islands and Warfronts, actually do quite a bit when it comes to “side games”… including some “not particularly casual” types.
I also never said what I do in game or whether or not I like any of the “side games” (Islands and WFs included), but nice assumption there. And you know what they say about assumptions.
A consensus that “many players” don’t particularly care for that content still does not equal “most players”. Frankly, in all likelyhood, “most players” probably do a host of different things depending on their schedule, mood, desires, needs, wants, fun factors, etc. making “most players” a part of some “minority of players” who likes anything from raiding to pet battling.
I play phone games all the time. What else am I supposed to do while waiting at the Doctor or Dentist’s office? Standing in line at the grocery? Waiting for my car to be serviced? When I’m bored at work? Twiddle my thumbs?
And? That has nothing to do with WoW. “Gamers” play lots of different games from PC to console to mobile to anything they like. I’m really glad that you think that is some kind of insult but it’s simply not. I game. I play lots of different kinds of games. Because, you know… the whole “I game” thing.
Regardless of your lovely insult toward me, you still do not speak for anyone but yourself.
