So I’m a little curious is there a WoW Devil and/or Hell equivalent?
Ragnaros would be my guess, but he’s not really a devil… lives in a fiery “underworld” though.
I ask because I have been into the whole Hell mythos and I think it would be pretty cool to raid that place
Ragnaros for some reason was my immediate reaction just for the aesthetic, hah. You have Helya because WoW has a ton of norse mythology. She’s basically the norse devil

There is a legion raid that sends you to the underworld. though its more of a norse underworld, not a christian conception of hell
Sargeras is the closest thing the Warcraft universe has to Satan, i.e., the Devil, Lucifer the Fallen Angel.

Yup its Sargeras. Horns, flames, wields a weapon, torments your soul, evil. Suits the devil quite well.
I agree Sargeras is pretty close and then there are demons but it’s not the same as the Hell stuff I saw somewhere else. It’d be kinda cool if there was something like that.
But Sargeras wasn’t a being born of Fel but of Arcane. I want a full blown Demon King, a being that is the expression of Fel given form on the level of the Titans, Wild Gods, Old Gods, Naaru.

There are parallel realities like the Shadowlands and the Void but we’ve yet to have a single entity identified as ‘that guy’ in the lore akin to Sargeras and the Legion.

but lore wise arthas ended up in the WoW version and when Sylvanas died at icecrown she was tormented by madness in the darkness and even saw visions of arthas as the lich king assaulting her mind and slowly driving her even more insane if not for a pact made with her Valkyr to take her place when she is killed she would’ve still been there forever

Sargeras is the closest to the Christian devil (Lucifer), as they’re both fallen “angels”.
The whole concept of hell, though… would be a mixture between the Twisting Nether and the realities of the Void and (Un)Death.
For places like Hell I think there are three places. Shadowlands, Twisting Nether and Void Realm, I really need to know the difference, I will need to do homework, at least I have the feeling the next xpac will be about death and the void. I heard that Sylvanas experienced in her death was the void realm.
Sargeras seems the ultimate demon who refuse his role and do what he thinks is right to save it from the void, but I prefer the Void Lords/Gods as the major evil of warcraft.
