Is there a "what's all this stuff in my bag" addon?

I’m a casual player. I use AdiBags to sort my stuff but there is SO MUCH in my bag from looting and I have NO idea what most of it is for. Is there any addon to help figure that out or do I just need to search for each item on wowhead?

I think you either have to google it all individually OOOOR you pester a select person you know who just happens to know everything about what all these things are. Not that I would ever do that or advise one to do it, but it’s an option :eyes:

All The Things goes a long way toward this.

All the things really helps with this.

Auctioneer used to have an addon within it called Informant which also used to show at least the category an item was in (for example Trade Goods > Cooking) but I’m not sure that’s the case anymore.

Not sure about others. I think ATT and searching wowhead for the item are your best bets.

As others mentioned: ALL THE THINGS

However, I will say that its a pretty heavy addon, because well… it loads ALL the things on wow, so be patient when you log in for the first time into the game. Also, make sure you load into all your characters one time when you first downloaded. It helps.

I also like to have CAN I MOG IT?
Its a great little addon that identifies every piece of gear with a check no check that tells you if you have already added the item to your transmog collection, and if it is a recolor of another and all that good stuff. SUPER helpful when you got load of BoEs in your bags.

Not what you asked for, but I find it helps me to have an addon that lists market value in tooltips, like TradeSkillMaster or Auctionator, so if an item only costs a few silver on the AH, I know it won’t be any trouble to rebuy if I vendor it now to make space.

Appreciate the input1

Try - All The Things.

It helps you with transmog too as it’ll tell you if you’ve collected it already.
