In SL, I could zoom out quite far away, even when mounted. Now, I am stuck on a close zoom, and can not go farther back. Is this a purposeful dragonflight change? It makes it hard to dragonride, and becasue i played zoomed out for 10 years, it is really hard for me to be used to this.
There used to be a slider in options. Not sure if game options or graphics. Do not know if it’s still there. And I can’t check right now.
I am sure you already looked into it, but you can key bind zoom out to a key you don’t use often/at all. I remember there used to be an add-on that allowed you to zoom out farther than the Vanilla UI allowed…but i cannot remember if it’s still around.
Was it called MaxCam?

no add on works any more and what we have is the max and it sucks bad lol

That console command stopped working during SL. Caused me to have to stop using some of my mounts due to motion sickness.

you cauld try to replace 2.6 to 3.0 or 3.2 it might zoom the camera out a bit farther… not online atm so i can’t test it
Nothing works currently to get it back how it was. This change was made for PvP balance issues along with the removal of the enhanced FOV commands. I guess it was being used to get an advantage in BGs?
hey all. I actually found the real solution. It’s the FIELD OF VIEW option in settings. It is default turned all the way down. It zooms you waaaaaaayyyyy out. THey should clarify this
