With the new updates for Profs, it takes up 80% of my screen. I can’t see anything going on, view the AH to link mats like we used to. Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the frame width? I absolutely hate it.

yea its to big. and when you try to enchant yourself or need your character window open at the same time or ah it will close. then you need to reopen and search again. annoying. some of these changes i swear are regression for the game.

Demodal or Blizzmove, one of these has a size adjustment option. The other way I found to decrease the size is by changing the UI scale, I used to have mine at 94% which made the profession window take up nearly 80% of the screen, bringing it down to 84% or 75% made it more manageable. It still takes a big chunk of the window, but not nearly as much.
I don’t understand why it can’t have a universal size for all UI scales, why it consumes more of the screen at larger UI scales is beyond me.

Pretty sure (most) of that space is actually going to be used with DF professions, which is why the window is so big.
Why the talent window couldn’t be like half as wide, though…the world may never know that one.
I think this was done because of the super elaborate DF professions (at least that is my hope). So maybe it makes sense then?
Yeah in current retail/SL, it is excessively large with a lot of dead space.

/shrug I’m sure there are addons that let you scale windows like this how you want. I don’t think the size of the ui elements that make it up necessarily needs to be any smaller by default. It would just be nice to have more baked-in options to move/customize windows like this.

don’t shrug, it doesn’t suit anyone. I don’t want an addon. I want to be able to see the AH and my character. If I can’t, then the game is not finished.

Blizz says they made a new UI to lessen the need for addons.
Instead, they made a turdball of a UI that absolutely requires addons.
Anyone know where we can watch the interview with the dev that worked on the new ui, I remember watching it I just can’t find it anywhere.
