I would like to be able to right-click on the map, and a “post-it note” gets dropped. I can then write a small blurb of info that pops up when I mouseover the note.
Exactly what Handy Notes does, but user-driven.
Is there something that does this? 
I dont use mods, but this would be nice indeed.
If you have HandyNotes installed. You can type /hnnew in the chat box to add a note at your current location.
If you type /hnnew x,y then you can create a note at the specific coordinates.

About the only other thing I could ask for would be able to scale the icon. edit: there is an option to GLOBALLY scale ALL the icons. But I was just wanting to individually scale some of them.
But the fact there is a huge selection of icons makes up for it. All I really wanted was a generic icon. I’m glad it lets you choose so many!!

2nd edit: In the HN game options panel, on the last tab, it looks like you can save a profile and export it. Although I think this would save EVERYTHING. Not sure someone wants my ENTIRE profile.
What I did was mark up the map of Valdrakken so you can see where EVERY trainer is, all the material vendors, the Titan Relic turn in, etc. I just want to share THIS map.
I don’t know of a way to export them. However, you can share the /hnnew x,y strings and they can create them.
There is a Handynotes plugin that does something pretty similar, might work for you;
