Hello everyone. I have a question. Is there any way via macro have your felguard /stopcasting felstorm? I understand that /stopcasting works for the player, but is there a pet/minion equivalent or workaround? Having a way to cancel the cast seems very useful especially during a cast of Demonic Strength given that you cannot cast the Demonic Strength ability/talent while your felguard is actively within his felstorm channel/animation.
This is a problem that has plagued demo locks for a while now.
Just tested and that doesn’t work.
I have an “Oh Crap” button I use for pet control for my hunter.
If you time things right, you can break a cast.

In its default (no modifiers) state it shuts down my pet pretty fast and I’ve seen my pets withdraw from attacking things that they’d set their sights on but haven’t actually hit yet.
I think the /cleartarget and /stopattack and /petpassive and /petfollow bits might do it for a Warlock pet.
Is a different use case. Felstorm prevents the Warlock from using higher priority abilities like Demonic Strength and Soul Strike. It’s not about pulling the pet out of combat.
I don’t warlock, so I didn’t know.
I do know that this does interrupt my pets and hunter pets and warlock pets follow the same general model.
I thought maybe it might work.
