Is There A Way To Get To Pandora Without Chromie Time?

I am a new player , but I am not that interested in leveling up in BFA zones , I much prefer pandora (as I have seen in gameplay videos , and images). To sum up what I want , is their a way to get to Pandora without having to deal with chromie time?

Note: I can’t use chromie time yet , I am not at level 50 on any of my characters.

Edit 2: I made it to Pandora , thanks for all your help!

Maybe a mage portal but not sure if they added any restrictions after chromie time was added.

Alright , but I think you need to have a high reputation with them (take in mind I did like 5 minutes of searching on the internet) , and I can’t use the portal it won’t let me.

I think you need to get some quest from the Orgrimmar throne room to start the Pandaria quest line and get to Pandaria.

Not sure if it has changed since.

Did you ask a mage for a port or did you try the port in the portal room? Not sure if that would make a difference, but might be worth a try.

I am in the horde , would it be in the warcheif room?

Sorry changed it, yes it is, it starts a cinematic with Garrosh.

Ah , I am at like level 27 so I probably can level the other 23 levels over the weekend.

I don’t know why you wouldn’t want to do Chromie Time…

Sure you can go to Pandaria without it, but you won’t be able to queue for any Pandaria dungeons because the game will assume that you’re doing BFA content even though you’re not.

The only downside to Chromie Time is that once you hit 50, you’re yoinked back to Orgrimmar/Stormwind so you can start Shadowlands content.

Pick up the following quest to start the Pandaria unlock quest chain:

You will soon unlock the Pandyland portal in your capital city’s portal room, and be able to come and go as you please.

Thank you so much!

No problem!

It may be worth it to check your capital city’s portal room first to see if the “Jade Forest” portal is available, but I think you do still need to unlock the portal through the quest chain I linked above.

I’m not 100% sure on this, but, if you are leveling in zones outside of Chromie time, then each expansion has a cap on the quest levels, like the vanilla/cata stuff would be 1-30, then you’re supposed to go somewhere else.

I would suggest getting a character through to 50 in bfa since you said you’re a new player, as horrible as that may sound, that way any other characters you create can do Chromie time and pick any of the previous expansions to go through.

I am a new player (so I have not unlocked chromie time) , and I have seen footage of Pandora and it looks cool or what hit , and I want to check it out. Only problem is that I think you may also need to get level 50 and beat BFA or something.

If you want to level in Pandora then I suggest you do it with Chromie time because if you dont the experience you get from the quests and mobs will be much, much lower.

I am leveling a blood elf as a Ironman Challenge. I have yet to use chromie time and I get about 22 xp on mobs.

BTW Chromie time ends at about level 47.8. Keep that in mind.

I think you should be able to get the “Art of War” quest from the command board.

From there you’ll enter the Warchiefs room in Org and then eventually be sent out to the flying battleship ‘Hellscreams Fist’ and from there to Pandaria.

You can start the intro quest for Pandaria then go back and change it with Chromie once you get he portal functionable (if I recall just reaching the first Alliance quest hub of MoP)

If you check the command board and it’s not available try taking one of the other missions. That will refresh the board.

You might need flying mount to do the quest so keep that in mind if you don’t have it already. The quest to get there makes you fly to a ship over orgrimmar.

Umm… last I checked, the Na’vi still don’t like humans… but a few years back a human did get through & did quite well. Had to ultimately race-change though to find groups for any group content.
