Is there a war? is this a mmorpg? BAD direction, its over

they have done a horrible job at “making” a war in this xpan … theres more of a war presence in crossroads going towards RFD and RFK and that was done in 2010? , this xpan is total trash and laziness creatively … other than warfronts theres no sense of any kind of war and they are also garbage

imo once Activision starts to lose a single dollar from WOW they will either try to add cash shops for gear and weps (if not before hand or the end of next year) or sell blizz to the highest bidder , thats if anyone would want it seeing its tanking sooo bad and sooo fast … theres no way Activision will pour more of their money and resources into a game that they see and feels thats tanking.

these AAA companys are vampires sucking the industry dry of any originality / creatively and dont tell me that Activision does not have any say so on how they want the direction of the game to go … they just dont simply fork over truck loads of cash and say “here ya go,do what you want” thats not how business is done…at least not in this relationship, hell they have even started a mass firing and layoffs and replacing blizz spots with Activision employees, blizz is being gutted

Activision sees $$$ signs and catering to the E-sport genre … wow has slowly made itself into a arena/shoot em up/rush rush rush/add-on apps/do a specific rotation everytime/ no thought/ lobby game / mainstream conglomerate e-sport , a mmorpg?? it will soon be FAR from it.

id admit they got me on the mount / subb deal … never again im done and waiting for time to run out

I’d honestly love to know where this “war” is happening. I mean, I keep helping baby turtles make it to the water, play a matching-shell game, freeing little pigs, and killing boars and dinosaurs. No war going on that I see anywhere.

i guess they think a GO-FISH card game and a silly tablet type side game will keep the game afloat … but hey … its content amiright ?? lol

They didnt do this during Cata.

They didn’t do this during WoD.

They didnt do this during Legion.

But suddenly. 10 years after the merger, after surviving WoD…Activision is gonna take a hard line stance?

Activision bought blizz in 2013 …

The warfronts are a good place to look. Or any champs world quest with warmode on, for some reason.

The Activision merger was announced in 2007, and became official June or July of 2008.

Check out any zone during an invasion.
Check out warfront areas that are being patrolled.
Throw war mode on if you don’t feel like the other faction has enough of a presence in your life.

As an Alliance, it’s significantly more prominent in your questing too. There’s an entire storyline in Stormsong where the Horde bomb a town to hell and start invading. Not to mention your war campaigns.

Op just seems like he’s jumping on the bandwagon half cocked, trying to remember a rant he heard somewhere else and giving us a rather lame version of it.

Wiki says diff …merger was july 2008 … they bought it in july 2013

Vivendi (holding company) was the parent company of Activision Blizzard.

Activision Blizzard issued a buy back from Vivendi.

Activision did not not buy Blizzard in 2013.

guess you have never done an incursion during warmode, especially at the beginning of the patch.

Faction assault gets PvE and PvP melded almost seamlessly. Now if the Alliance players would come out to play without HAVING to have 40-3 numerical supremacy all the time it would be perfect . That is something the PLAYERS have to do, not the developers. And I am NOT complaining. I’m actually having a blast .
I’d like to see RP and PvP move seamlessly together, but how, I don’t know yet. So … try the PvP … it’s fun.

There is a war in these forums all the time (your own thread as warring posters).
