As WoD has now been written as an alternate timeline I am curious if there is a version of Yrel currently at the Exodar or does that character not exist in current timeline? If not, was Captain Fareeya created to be this timeline’s equivalent as a future leader of the Light forged but not tied to the zealotry that WoD version of Yrel story goes?
Warlords was always an alternate timeline.
If she existed in the main timeline, she probably got turned into pavement like most of the spacegoats.

Its implied that she died in the main timeline.
In earlier versions of WoD Beta she was supposed to be Maraad’s dead wife, whom in the alternate draenor lived instead of him. This was scrapped before release, however.

Wasn’t she heavily influenced by those coming from out timeline? If that’s the case, odds are she died a rando, probably as pavement like above said.

OG Yrel most likely died as did most Draenei when the Orcs drank the demon blood.
Considering that she was toiling in a mine when we first found her, things were going poorly and trending downwards.
Without the help of time travelers, I don’t think she’d earn her “I survived The Rise of the Horde and all I got was this lousey T-Shirt” novelty shirt.

Not to mention that the Orcs that enslaved her in WoD weren’t insane like the demon blood drinking Horde in OG timeline that abused and killed the Draenei in record time. They didn’t even bother keeping slaves.
I’m pretty sure that “mine slave” is just a passive form of execution that also nets you some free ore.

Man, that’s messed up. Makes you wonder if blizz would ever do anything like that again in this day and age.
