Is there a trick to getting Rank 2 holy shock

My friend is playing a paladin and he talents holy shock but he can not figure out how to train the subsequent ranks.

Visit your class trainer.

While you’re at it, spec OUT of Holy Shock. It isn’t all that great of an ability.

nothing wrong with holy shock. it’s not that good but it’s better than whatever you think you can replace it with.

The only real “oh stuff” use for holy shock in Classic was when the horde mage exited the instance at 5% health and got beamed.

Holy Shock rank 2 is trainable at level 48. Is your friend at least level 48?

If I’m running 30 into Holy, there isn’t a good choice anywhere but Holy Shock. Personally I’d rather hit the mandatory 20 and then head for Holy Shield. Paladins are fun for me when I can multi mob and heal as needed.
