Is there a skill gap bug with Jewelcrafting professional gear?

Use all Tier 3 mats
Still 1 point away from crafting Enchanter’s Crystal/Forger’s Font Inspector/Novelist’s Specs (409 VS 410)

Looks like it.

I’m 6 points shy from crafting rank5 profession gear with JC (100 base skill + 40 from tools + all nodes). Fine with every other profession.

+1 to this. I feel this was an oversight on Blizzards side. Other professions can guarantee rank 5 tools and accessories without the need for concentration or +skill items.

I’ve maxed all all 4 nodes in the Jewelcrafting spec, the first node of Shaping, and put 1 point into the other accessible nodes to see if that increases the Skill but it stays the same, 6 points away.
