Has anyone set one up with channels as current rating to find other like skilled folk? Love to speed date that to find the right fit partner for 2’s next season.

There’s a handful but I think a lot of them all devolve into the same thing which is basically just people looking for higher experience teammates and nobody ends up actually playing.

Lot of people are sketchy. Being in discord with them is just one step closer to them getting info from you or getting you to click on links.
And if I have learned anything is that there’s no shortage of sketchy people in the wow pvp community.
But pretty sure it’s very possible to ddos from discord.

Dunno about any with the channel restrictions/visibility, but I’ve had luck finding partners in Oasis WoW. First couple of people who really gave me a chance were from there, plus it’s a nice place to chat too.
r/worldofpvp discord seems active, but I can’t comment on actually getting partners from it yet

A lot easier than you think. You know that warning you get when you’re leaving discord after clicking on a link? Yeah people don’t actually know the consequences of clicking on sketchy links.
There’s also other ways that I won’t go into detail about using software.
Oh, yeah, that’s a given, I just didn’t know people were potentially having theirs yoinked for being in a server.
There’s software people can use. You just need some tech savvy. don’t even need to be an expert.
But there’s other worries than just being ddos.
I do not trust wow players at all. Or people online in general.

what did i even say? i said that people shouldn’t click on sketchy links and that wow players are huge degens(but mostly online people in general). both are very true. something you learn in cyber security 101.
