someone has to start at the bottom at some point.
The addon never made any attempt to keep “noobs” or “unreasonable” or “not speaking the same language as you” out of your groups. It screened for none of those.
It was strictly geographic with a hefty dose of racial bias. People from those servers are far more likely to speak your language than you are to speak ANY foreign language.

well people don’t just make those plugins for no reason. i think the fact that a plugin was a monument to how badly people did not wish to play with such unreasonable people. their reputation for poor play and hostility was well earned.

It doesn’t change the fact that the addon (not “plug-in”) did not sort for any of the things you claimed not to want, unlike raider io, which would sort out inexperienced players.
I seem to recall that Blizzard broke it because it looked really bad to have an addon by that name blocking players by presumed race.

Ahhh, now that i think about it, i think i saw a player from Drakkari in a LFR for The Eternal Palace i was in last week. It didn’t occur to me at the time that they were from the latin american server due to typing in english.
It was meant to immediately decline anybody from certain language speaking regions. A lot of the elitist pug groups don’t like 2-3 servers in particular.
It’s now possible to tell by looking at someone now
They are usually blood elf DHs thinking highly of themselves
How in the world do you know what language people speak in a game that features little to no speaking to begin with?
I mean I love and play with my boys from Quelthalas, Ragnaros, and Azralon. I play with them all the time and my history shows it. However sometimes I do find that my latency shoots up the roof when I am playing with them. I wish Blizz would fix that or at least put a latency bar on players for the LFG so it can be easier to determine who has the better connection for pug purposes. Many games have this.
Meanwhile you’re making a pretty good case for the rest of us getting a reputation for hostility and toxicity, too.

IS THERE A NEW VERSION OF THE NOOB BLOCKER ADDON?
Id like one that blocks mythic players from being able to queue for lowbie dungeons, quite honestly.
That’s impossible because the players from the realm you mentioned have their realms in the US, you probably are mistaken with the Oceanic servers.
