So a couple of times in the past, Blizzard added an item that was only available during the pre-expansion event. One of them was the Haunted Memento. There was another one in (I think) the Legion pre-expansion event, although I can’t remember it’s name. Anyone know if there is a similar item for the Dragonflight pre-expansion event? As a collector, I love collecting these rare items. And I know that once the expansion hits on Monday, they will start popping up on the AH, but at a hefty price. While I don’t mind spending some gold on things that I don’t have collected, it would (obviously) be better to just find one and save the gold for other things that I need to collect. If anyone has found an item like those other 2 and knows where to pick them up, I’d sure appreciate the information. Thanks in advance!
Unless it’s super secret and I don’t know about it, no. There’s an heirloom trinket that’ll only be available during pre-patch, but it’s not something you’ll be able to buy on the AH - once it’s gone, it’s gone.
So that trink is something that you have to find during the event? If so, do you nkow what its called and/ or where to find it?
I always keep my Crate of Puppies with me, you never know when you need to link it.
Each elemental boss drops a “combine all 4”-item.
Collect all 4 and get your heirloom

yep the heirloom is this events special item. as Jir said, you need to get an item off each type of elemental boss to make it. its a high drop rate but not 100%. use custom group finder to kill bosses back to back instead of waiting for the respawn.
you can also assume that everything being sold by the event gear vendor will be some level of limited time only as well. while the vendor itself may or may not stick around, the currency needed to buy from him will be unobtainable after the event is over and everything but i think the pet, will not be able to be sold on the AH.
i think the armor and weapons he sells are a recolor that you may only be able to get from the event- but i dont follow 'mog close enough to say so for sure. So if you want all the armor sets and weapons, better safe than sorry.
the toy from the same vendor will def become unobtainable since it cant be sold either. and the FoS for killing all four bosses is limited time as well
Each of the 4 elemental invasion bosses have a chance to drop a corresponding elemental doodad. Combine all 4 and you get the heirloom. They are not a guaranteed drop. But you are able to trade them and receive them from anyone who tagged the boss with you, even though they say BoA. Though I have to be honest, if you have none of them, you’ll have to be super on it from here. Certain elements can take a while to spawn, you might not get the drop, and there will be more people looking to have one traded to them than available.
