Just wondering, because after what they did with Warcraft 3 there’s no way I’m paying for anything new from Blizz until it’s released and proven not to be total train wreck. The reason why I ask if there’s a mount, even though the Warcraft 3 remaster was so bad it actually made me feel that cringey secondhand embarrassment you get watching a bad sitcom, the Meat Wagon mount was actually pretty sweet, to the point I didn’t get a refund just so I could keep the mount. If D2 has a really good mount I might might take the chance. If not, no ookin’ way.

I wonder if this remaster will destroy the old version like Warcraft 3. No matter how good it might be that would be sad. I love D2. Would be sad to see it go. (Also, would hate to have to pay for the game again to be able to keep playing it).
Most likely, because any game going through Battlenet is forced to update which is what happened with WC3 reforge overwriting old WC3 installs.

Right now, no. But I would highly recommend to never support any preorders of any game ever again -regardless of the perks. Be they from blizzard or anyone else.

Luckily, most people can run VMs now.
You can still play, you just won’t have the graphics update.
Have to wait and see, maybe they found a way for this not to overwrite, but that was the issue before…opening bnet forced wc3 to update wether you liked it or not.

Good opportunity to reintroduce Tyrael’s Charger with an HD upgrade. Yeah right, won’t ever happen.
That’s cool, if I was in your shoes I’d consider it too as to not break the chain. I just can’t justify giving gaming companies my money before they’ve earned it anymore.
