Is there a Horde without Blood Elves?

I actually don’t think that’s the whole issue there, I think Blizzards rigging system for gear (or lack thereof) is a pretty big contributer too

Like, gear just “fits” BE well. While a lot of the races that aren’t super humanoid look terribad as the gear just sort of stretches and morphs to fit them, as opposed to each race having their own a individual rigging for gear appearances (would be the better way to do it)

I know that’s a factor for me. I love Forsaken, for example, but everything just looks pretty horrid on them :face_vomiting:

You might be right, i could have gotten that wrong. I just remember the Dwarf priest spell being the one that was the best.

I think they had fear ward yeah. I remember undead priests got devouring plague and troll priests had hex & shadowguard but I’m fuzzy on the others.

I just don’t care for them at all. Even the ones I like. All the Blood Elves could drop dead and I wouldn’t notice.

And we could feed the Forsaken for a while too. Two birds, one stone.

I’d rather play something interesting than something ‘pretty’. Though to this day I have absolutely no clue how people think anorexia (females) and upper body steroid abuse + chicken legs (males) are considered pretty.

That said, I love Void Elves. At least they aren’t just your standard Elf, they’re bloody aberrations with tentacles and all!

we have consumed the horde, we are no longer a part of it, it is a part of us

Don’t worry, it’ll soon be Void Elves vs. Zandalari Trolls

There is certainly no Horde for me without Blood Elf, so I’m glad the option is there. Now just rename the race back to High Elf and it’ll be almost perfect.

Is there a Horde without Blood Elves?

No, but there damn well should be. I’m tired of all these catgirls running around

Undead were the most popular horde race before Belves were in the game followed by orcs I believe

Undead and humans were the most popular on each faction, with orcs and night elves in second. That is one of the larger arguments against adding high elves to the alliance is faction balance.

There might be, but with Warchief Lor’themar Theron we will make the best Horde

. … what? A bunch of people played Horde without blood elves being added.

Its not just that they are pretty. Blizzard ensured they were most popular horde race by giving them two exclusive classes(Paladin and DH) and the most OP-in-all-content racial for 10 years(pre-bfa nerf). Pretty was a factor no doubt, but we can’t ignore the rest.

the faction balance would look something like 75% Alliance / 25% Horde.
[/quote]Funny, that’s about what the split was for my vanilla realm (Mannoroth).

At the worst, it was close to 4:1, which doesn’t seem that bad these days, but keep in mind this was way before server transfers and speedy leveling.

It’s no secret the overall faction imbalance was so dire Blizz invoked the most powerful fantasy trope catnip of all: pretty elves. And here we are today, crisis averted:roll_eyes::unamused:

Hah, I wish there were catgirl option in WoW. It would be a fitting counterpart to my Draenei.

Blood Elves both “saved” and “ruined” the Horde at the exact same time.

Forsaken had already ruined it.
