WoW is the worst esport to get into on a professional level for the money. Everyone who is successfully playing WoW is doing so because of their twitch streams, not because the prize pool and sponsors are paying them well.
Play literally any other game if you are going to devote your time to that endeavor. But also remember that the likelihood of making big money in esports is similar to becoming a big time celebrity, near the same odds as winning the lotto if you had to quantify it.

Mostly from his twitch revenue and sponsers he’s not even a big streamer only gets like 1k viewers but he brought a new house and can support his wife and kids by just playing wow.
