I was doing world quests in K’aresh and noticed they were giving me 50 reputation. As far as I remember, in previous weeks they were also giving 50 rep per quest, so it seems like the 50% extra reputation bonus isn’t being applied.
Can someone confirm if the event is actually working, or if I’m just misremembering how much rep world quests were giving in past weeks?
I was getting 50 rep or so too. Now I did get quest credit just fine, but it didn’t seem like I was getting any kind of bonus unless the rep reward is lower. Will admit, when doing WQs I kinda stop paying attention to a lot of things.
It’s not uncommon for Blizz to exclude new factions from rep bonuses during events. It’s too early for that rep to be boosted! We’ll have to wait for the next time the event comes around because the overlords have decided that’s far enough out that it won’t matter anymore.
If you are talking about the weekly “do ten world quests” it says right on the rewards that you’ll chose a faction and that none of them are k’aresh.

If you see your buff, you will see one named “World Quest Bonus Event” that says you will gain 50% bonus rep for doing world quest
