Since it is tied to buying shadowlands… Is it being permanently removed once that gets put into the base game?

As for the OP’s question, I assume that when SL gets rolled into the base game, the mount will just become part of is as well. But who knows. They might decide to end the promotion then.

I still see it as the Mount of Choice in random epics.
Generally peer pressure gets everyone to pull it out for some really goofy AV runs.

I like the way they handled the mage tower one.
It’s a quality mount, from animations and noises to how it changes with the season. 
I just wish that the source wasn’t so…free. Stuff is cooler when everybody doesn’t have it.
I have it. I doubt I will ever use it. Personally, I hate the larger mounts. Plus, I voted for the Caterpillar because at least it was new and unique.

Eh, the only poll mount that doesn’t have a completely new rig/animations so far is the slime cat (which looks to just be using the regular WoW cat mount stuff). Both the tree and the book are unique mounts.
Of course I care. Having something that looks cool is nice, but it’s nicer if nobody has it. I’m never going to ride around on some pleb shop mount unless it’s perfect for my char.
It’s kind of like the mog thing where I’d prefer to use something unobtainable.

Hmmm. I think the tree is reminiscent of the large Yeti mounts and book reminds of those flying disks with a new layer of paint. The game is remarkable short on caterpillar models altogether.
