is the new forum like the wc3 remaster forum?

where i got a suspension for calling the company activision-activision?
Yikes.

If they are that thin-skinned, the new forum will be very quiet.
Yes.

The new forums allow for easier and swifter moderation. So that means you won't be getting away with anything like you would here.

They are much harder on people now with the new setup and crack down pretty hard on trolling, spam, non-constructive posting and just general remarks made exclusively by jerks.

Better bust out your rainbows and sunshine mindset.

What pisses me off about this is they punish those on the autism spectrum all the same. I sometimes piss people off without trying to and when actively trying not to. It's a disability.
I am sure the WOW moderators will still allow criticism. However, there is a fine line between criticism and trolling. Hopefully you will find the edge and stay on the correct side of it.

I find that it’s not so fine a line. My experience has been that it’s a very clear divide and it starts right when you start talking about the devs or the company instead of the product.

Was I wrong to imagine this in Edmund Blackadder's voice?

Are you being sarcastic? How would mods know that you are autistic?

Just mention that in your posts and you get a free pass. Also make some mention that you might be struggling with coming out of the closet, than you can say whatever you want.
at least you did not call it

I tried to tell them once after what I felt was an overbearing mod action that gave me a suspension and they responded with a machine generated nonsense that basically said "We have reviewed the incident and felt our actioning was appropriate" but did not address anything I said.

I hate how impersonal Blizzard customer support has become. I know for a fact they used to be better and more personal years ago from experience.

Come on dude, you can't be serious. They're not gonna give you a pass to say whatever you want just because you say you're on the spectrum.
So....no "non-constructive" posts? So you can't post that you don't like something in the game unless you post a solution? Oh, THIS ought to be good...

"I don't like that flying is locked behind Pathfinding"

YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED!!! You did not post a reason WHY you don't like it, nor did you post a viable, well-thought-out solution. Your ban is permanent.

People on the autism spectrum generally don't have a great ability to view how others see things and have trouble with empathy. I know I do myself. It gets me into trouble when I say something I think is acceptable but it turns out to be taken offensively. Even when I think long and hard on how to frame something contraversial in a non offensive manner it can be upsetting to some people.

Non-constructive posts are trolling threads or blatant violations of the posting guidelines.

You can post you don't like stuff in the game. Just be a semi-civil human being about it. (This is apparently quite difficult.)

I never said I expected this. Don't use hyperbole to try to argue a point.

No, it’s just that vague rules tend to be interpreted in a manner that classifies anything remotely negative as “trolling”.
