Is the Horde lore REALLY that much better?

I played Horde during Vanilla and TBC because, at the time, I was playing for progression. Then I got a girlfriend who played Alliance, have been here ever since.

I see people complain constantly about the Alliance lore, and I find myself constantly wanting to go roll a Horde to see if it’s really that much better.

Is it REALLY that much different? That one sided? Or is this just more forum QQ?

Winning is always better than losing.

The Horde lore for BfA is absolutely terrible, but Horde lore in general is much more interesting than the Alliance lore. The Horde simply has more compelling characters with fleshed out motivations… until BfA ruined a lot of it with their incredibly incredibly SUPER incredibly bad writing.

It’s not that it’s one sided it’s just they have a marked preference for Horde storylines so the Alliance always comes last in development. It also means Alliance is always in a reactionary position which is kind of blah. Now with the creepy self insert of Nathanos it’s just annoying beyond words.

Nothing is game breaking or true bias people speak of but it is really annoying.
