Is the fun gone...?

As an honest question, I want to know - who’s having fun in WoW right now and how? I’ve been away for a few months, I decided to come back on now that the semester’s over, did a day of WQs, and I’m already bored out of my skull. The grinding is mind numbing, the WQs are boring as sin, and all I really care about now is allied races which, you guessed it, is locked behind these awful aspects of the game. I don’t want to hate just for the sake of hating, I’ve loved this game for 13 years, but…is there anything fun to do anymore??

New wow would be improving on past successes. They keep regressing into this weird classic/grindy hybrid.

I’m having fun. I log on to my main and check if the emissary is worth it then I log on to low level alts and level them through bg’s. What’s fun for me may not be fun for the next guy but that’s my answer to your question.

I spend a lot of my time in old content - so yeah, I have heaps to amuse myself. I only do current content for those dailies, then I’m back to leveling, mount collecting, mog collecting, achievement collecting, battle pet collecting etc.

*edit TBH, it’s the lack of tier sets that keeps me away from BfA content. Once you get a full set of leather, or plate etc, there’s no point going back for me.
Before BfA, I used to spend a lot more time in the current expansion because obviously paladin gear was different to warrior gear was different to DK gear.
Shame really

i’m having alot of fun in BfA but mainly doing things like mythics and raids with my guild… i kind of agree with how boring the world quests are… lately now that my Ilvl is high enough to do raids and stuff i am just trying to gut mounts and allied races when my guild is not doing anything.

I was getting bogged down in the XPAC to be honest, and was considering unsubbing for awhile.

But the 8.1 previews at Blizzcon and on wowhead and such really got me excited, and I’m having a lot of fun leveling a ton of alts
getting ready for the 8.1 xp adjustments.

I’m just logging in for raid nights right now. I’ll pick it up it again when 8.1 releases. Nothing wrong with spending time playing other games in the meantime. It’s healthy.
