Really struggling to level on my Rogue
You can quest and hit max level in 3 hours.
It took me 9 hours to get an alt from 10 to 60 doing only the event.
It’s a pain to do on a Rogue if you’re going at it solo. You’re better off joining one of the farming groups.
Depends on your class really… I found it a struggle with my priest too being only able to single tab target to try get a tag. Mainly only got the elites.
Was much easier on my frost dk being able to instant tag whole groups.
Probably also server / faction dependant
I think so. I went 58 to 60 just by completing the starting quest and getting to Tyr. Have not tried levelling alts but when I was farming Primal. i saw many under 50’s killing the mobs.
With priest, I found that it worked best to shadowcrash packs before people could pull them.
Has anyone figured out if it’s better to solo, group or raid for the event?
Ya was doing that abit but the long cooldown and travel time still made it unreliable at best
It depends on your class.
Melee? Raid.
Ranged with long range AoE? solo

Found it tough to get rags personally. With only elites and bosses, it took me about 4 hours total to go from 51 to 60 on my priest.
Melee is going to be rougher because the standard mobs will toss you about and kill you and you probably won’t even have a tag on them.
That event is stunting your leveling. Just quest and spam dungeons. ezpz.
My hunter went from LVL 40-60 in about an hour in the badlands
?my rouge went from 30-55 in like half that

I did this on my priest and it was great.
Idk about all this levelling you guys are putting your time into. And then comes in another level squish at some point in time. I am sorry, I just can’t deal with another one anymore. I only level stuff that I definitely will play in DF and it can’t be more than 3-5 chars’ at most! 
If the area is busy, yes, it’s pretty quick.
For me, I’m tired of questing and spamming dungeons, and now, I’m tired of the event too.
Just tag as many elites as you can, group up if you want, I did not, I’m working on my 6th alt atm, but servers went a tad haywire last night as I was 91% to 59.
I’m mainly doing it to get 252 gear, 278 weapon in preparation of DF, they’re all currently ilevel 75ish and I really don’t want to go to Shadowlands, all these alts have avoided that.
Is that in any Chromie time, any zone or do you find some better than others?
on your rogue, tag the elites with just pistol shot, shuriken toss or poisoned knife.
You main goal is to tag as much as you can solo at a popular event zone such as badlands or barrens.
Do not do it in a group because theres a exp penalty. Also make sure you’ve activated the anniversary exp buff
Also be sure to answer the daily question in the Caverns of Time. Nice chunk of XP there. Some of my lesser alts I’ve been leveling that way and they’ve gone up a few levels just by that alone since the event started.
For Rogue, try some sharpening stones, fighter chow and some stat potions.
