Is the Dreadwake the New Ultimate Mount?

Recently I obtained Exalted with the Anglers for the Water Strider mount. But now I’m seeing this new flying ship that can be purchased from the store. So, can the Dreadwake travel arcoss water at the same speed as a Water Strider? If so, this may very well be one mount worth looking into.

yeah, basically. Silly decision by blizzard to make a boat that isn’t water efficient

it gets reduced speed in water like normal mounts, sadly

I do hope Blizzard makes the right choice and turns it into a water speed mount later on, i’d certainly buy it if that were the case lol

It’ll be able to zip right over water in patch 8.2.

The ultimate mount that sinks in water as a boat. Now if Blizzard were to revisit this mount and allow it to float like a boat should on water then maybe it would qualify as an “Ultimate Mount”.

I’m very seldom that guy, but how in the world did the question of whether the boat should have water walk not come up in development? And if it did, what could possibly make them think it shouldn’t have it? It’s a boat.

The Dreadwake is really cute. I wish I could’ve gotten it without the sub though. Oh well, I pay for everything with wow tokens so it’s acceptable.

Having the Dreadwake be both a Land and Sea mount would have been far better than yet another flying mount you can’t use until the last few patches of an expansion.

Still waiting on my Gnomish/Goblin submersible mounts, btw. Thinking some sort of mechanical octopus thing for Gnomes and a sea scorpion-themed one for the Goblins.

I got the mount as part of the 6 month combo deal Was worth it I love my boat and it FLOATS!!! If your a DK that is .

It is a bit clunky I will admit that and traveling in Bolarus is a nightmare onto itself. Hard to move boat around.

But for most part its awesome to fly in and just use in general I love the art.

My only complaint is that the canons dont make any nosie.

Rating for mount B+ good quality.

Strangest thing I seem to be only person using it much if at all… I seen a few other people but majority of times i am only one using it… especailly in Bolarus where theirs hundreds of players…

its a bit sad to be honest.

But ya Its a good mount that you would have gotten if you got the 6 month combo pack.

Blizz tied it to a 6 month sub requirement when they were losing massive numbers of subs. I’m sure there’s no connection.

True but most people were going to buy the 6 month combo anyways cheaper then per month… Plus mount is pretty good… Are people just bitter and not using mount cuz of that ?
