Is The Current Boosting Method In Dragonflight Bannable?

Clearly you did not play WoW before heirlooms, nor did you play Classic.

“Leveling is a hindrance in Dragonflight!”

sees Vanya lighting up a cr@ck pipe

Leveling only takes like 6 hours if done efficiently.

Its not a free(price) spot. Its an open spot.
If they were referring to free then they would say 1 spot FOR free.

Its people like you guys that have 0 common sence that there are instructions on everything including shampoo.

Did you even read my post. It started with the word IF as in If people are using bait and switch. I then told him what to do if people are trying to scam him.

There was zero reason for you to be rude and attempt to insult me in the manner you did.

For your information, this guy is not the first person to post that they were scammed by people in this manner. There have been multiple people inviting people into groups and then try to intimidate them into paying for the run. It is a scummy thing to do and unless you are one of those people, you’d want the practice stopped as well.

Now another interesting thing is the choice of words the person used. They should have said, “I have one open spot”, however, they used the word free and when they wrote their request, they did not indicate a price. Makes you… doesn’t it.

To be fair, if someone needs power leveling in Dragonflight, I question things.

The alts I’ve played each week are 64-65 just from profession quests and such. I haven’t even actively left Valdrakken with them except to go do the Hunt (where since they’re alts, I just afk at Tomul for the bags, so not gaining exp), and the Soup.

That said, if they tell you to contact them outside of the game when you try to join a boost group - report them. They’re doing sketchy things and want real money. If they tell you straight up a gold price, then that’s fine.

But also, keep in mind they can only advertise in Trade - Services. If they advertise in the group finder or regular trade or general, etc. I report them as well.

I’ll have you know I have a respectable 7 inches. People being unable to read the dungeon guide are why they struggle with heroic, much like how op isn’t able to read the rules about boosting.

I really doubt they were like, “Lets trick this guy into this party and then INTIMIDATE him into paying for this thing hundreds if not thousands of players freely pay for everyday”. You’re weird troll story is ridiculous. You’re just mad they didn’t forget to ask you for payment.

What a weird thing to say to me given the fact that I haven’t made up any type of story.

People get scammed in this game all the time.

You told someone who already proved they couldnt comprehend the idea that free can me used in other terms then monetary to report someone for doing something completly within the games tos. That is why i called you out on it.

Could possibly be a regional thing just as depending where you grew up you makly say sode while others say pop and another group will call it all coke.

as for me one open spot just sounds horrid.

You say you have no idea why he’s talking down to you, yet your original comment was “these are the people that struggle heroic raiding.”

That’s also why his alt level comment was relevant, you’re saying he can’t raid so his reply is basically “post on your main let’s see your results.”

The proper usage of words often sound horrid when people first learn how to use them.

However, you’ve now been put on notice that:

  1. Free means without cost or payment
  2. One open spot means - you have a spot available
  3. You should always state what the price of that one open spot is going to cost up front so that people do not think you are a scammer

Look at all the things you have learned today! Isn’t education a wonderful thing.

 I would be very careful with what you write given the fact that you struggled with the proper usage of the word free.
