There is a lot of existing journalism detailing the bad things Kotick did specifically, especially with relation to employee mistreatment. The hate for Kotick is more than just performative.
But even if he didn’t do any of the bad things, what is the point of having a head man in charge when the companies he is responsible for are perpetuating the bad and you can’t even hold him accountable for it? At very best, that’s still gross mismanagement.

To put that into perspective to the people just 1% of that a measly 1% is 690 million dollars which is more than quadruple the lotto for any state. Including Florida which normally has the highest state lotto winnings next to Nevada
I can’t even imagine ever having that measly 1% let alone 69 billion. How crazy is that folks
He fired an attendant on his private jet for complaining about harassment. The incident led to a lawsuit and settlement in her favor. He admitted to leaving a voicemail for his assistant threatening to have her killed. Joking or not, it’s unethical and an example of how he takes advantage of his status. It also speaks to his disregard for his staff’s dignity. He was qouted saying that his goal was to take the fun out of making video games. Which no doubt, alienated and made untold numbers of talented developers think twice about considering employment at Acti-Blizz. Plenty of reasons to dislike Bobby Kotick.
