Just wondering if it is just me but after 22 levels and doing so since original classic, doesn’t seem I am any further then I would or have been in the past. /rant
<----------------This toon I mean
It’s been working for me. I’m usually finishing zones with all my quests green and starting to go grey (and so I tend to move on before finishing them). If you have the buff in your buffs list, you’re probably be ok. If you want to be sure, talk to an innkeeper to disable it and re-enable it.
I know a few folks have reported it showing “0%” in the tooltip and that was resolved by refreshing it an an innkeeper.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You can toggle the buff on and off at an innkeeper in case you were wondering. You may have accidentally disabled it, and simply need to turn it back on.
i do think it is applying, though i can’t say for certain quite yet but making a new blood elf i am able to hit level 10 before my guide has me doing the level 6 quest The Dead Scar (kill 8 Plaguebone Pillagers). what i think will end up happening though is that i will outlevel the quests and thus start getting less exp if i don’t just move on to the next zone soon, thus i might not make it as high of a level as i’d want.
i think even before the prepatch i was getting out of the Ghostlands at around 24-25 with the buff.
You’re thinking it doubles your XP but that would be 100%
You can test it.
Do 1 through 5 with the buff turned off then on or just look at what quest xp/mob xp is.
Yes. I leveled insanely fast on a hunter. Getting 50% on quests is quite a lot.
Thank you I will check to see. You may be right. This is what I get for going away for 3 years. Thank you
i did several chars 1-70 in 2 days /played with a week of IRL time, it’s diff working lol it is equal to x2/x3 pserver rates.
i did a dk 61-70 all in av from Friday to Sunday the 50% exp applies to the bg xp as well, it’s insanely fast.
If you have questie, you can hold control while mousing over a quest objective, and it will tell you how much experience the quest will give you. Compare that to what the quest log actually says it will give you.
I.e., a quest in netherstorm grants 12,000 xp. Does the quest log actually say the reward if 18,000 xp?
Mouse over the tooltip, does it say 0% or 50%? If it says 0%, you disabled the buff at an inn keeper accidentially. Maybe an addon that auto cycles through the social options (chat bubbles) when talking to an NPC.
It does apply but 50% is not as huge as you would think because levels go up significantly in exp cost each time for example level 20 to 21 is 20800 exp 1-10 is about 23k exp
So your likely to be 1 or 2 levels higher at this point, but you need to also notice quest exp increases as you level up so you can definitely level faster if you skip zones here and there and focus on the most efficient quests.
No that would be 200%
so youre saying increasing it by 100% would make it the same?
no dont misquote me
