Is that true that Laptop GPU,CPU are pretty weaker than Destop ones?

i bought an ASUS laptop with RTX 2070 and my laptop is not running well like my Destop with GTX 1080, both CPU are core i7

Yup, they have lower TDP because they can’t cool as well and throttle a lot more.

The laptop 2070 is about 11% lower boost and 14% lower base clock speeds then it’s desktop counterpart.

Yeah, they usually are slower unless separated by a generation or so.

Check this: benchmarks aren’t always what they seem; and as stated above, tdp matters.

It’s hard for a 70~100 watt tdp laptop gpu to compete with 150 watt+ desktop gpu’s. Not to mention the challenge that comes along with cooling hard ware in a laptop enclosure.
