Id like to roll tank in order to get into groups faster. But in retail I have anxiety of not knowing paths or twenty mechanics for each raid boss and getting kicked
Was wondering if wrath if something you need to spend time learning or pretty easy to pick up
Tanking in dungeons is easy to pick-up. As for raids, wrath is more simple in general than retail, but it’s not tank and spank either. You will have to learn and understand mechanics of each fights as you would do in retail if you want to tank in raids.
Nothing in classic including wrath can be considered mechanically hard.
shrug. just tell everyone this is your first time tanking this dungeon. I’ve tanked everything as a warrior - most the time not knowing where we’re going. This is especially true in Vanilla when dungeons were non linear.
Tanking is more newcomer-friendly in Wrath than it was in classic or TBC, by far. It’s also a lot more fun. I highly recommend it.
Paladin Tanks, more so then any other tank, in Wrath dungeons is easy mode as long as you have Righteous Fury up and your gear is appropriate for the content your doing. Raids have mechanics and positioning that you need to be familiar with but thats it. Paladins are S+ tier in wrath for tanking.
