Look I am by no means saying SV is perfect or couldnt be improved upon. That is beside the point. You are the one who specifically stated that SV hunter mobility is comparable to that of a ret or dk. Its objectively false. End of discussion.

If you would like to continue a discussion about how we can be more up to par with some other classes I am more than willing. We do fall short somewhat but we are NOT in as bad of shape as these forums will lead you to believe.

My point was: you can work around it. The ‘T’ in Turtle also means ‘timeout’ so when that happens you get to enjoy a breather. That’s too bad that Hunter still can’t use Turtle offensively like so many other classes can still use theirs offensively.

I agree, Its not a true immunity therefore we should be able to continue with our damage during that time.

For me to invest in kiting, it would have to be less than 70% melee uptime. I practically stopped kiting since I went through Legion as MM. I’m either DPSing you down or I’m bugging out as a binary ordeal. Thankfully SV doesn’t have to stand still for anything.

Not using your full kit is just sub optimal. Even if it isnt as effective as you would like it to be.

Hey, not every class/spec focuses on crit though. You can cherry tap SV with the death of a thousand cuts besides. Burst metas aren’t exactly guaranteed to stick around. Shoot, that’s self-evident in Double Tap going away on a whim. Though it’s funny that burst metas are bad only when it’s Hunters or Warlocks doing it.

Point being is that class/specs that do well on damage throughput don’t need to crit THAT much, which only marginalizes the defensive EFFECT something like Roar gives.

We have mending bandage and feign death magic dispel to help combat that.

You could be ALTING the Hunter class for all I know. I do stand by my statement. Watch what people DO, not what they say.

Representation numbers don’t lie. And yes, I’m playing the game right now.

I play both hunter and paladin. At least in the current meta absolutely flooded with warriors and priests and ele shamans, paladin currently has about 0 defensives. Bop gets purged, and DS gets insta MD’d or shattered. It is about as terrible of a play experience I have ever had.

I swapped to a more alliance populated server so my hunter could join the rest of my level capped toons. Leokitas was what all my past posts are under (how hard could it be for them to just carry this over?) Either way, I am not a tourist to this class. You would have no way to know that, no harm no foul. It seemed as if you were alluding to me being stupid I apologize for misreading.
