I just hit 60 and tried to do some battlegrounds but I am getting just massive lag? like perfectly fine on the server and levelling but there is a noticeably delay in the battleground?

What region are you in?
on the oceanic servers
They merged those with US servers. Seems that is causing some major lag issues. There is a blue post on this.

I agree also I don’t know lol. Good luck I hope they fix this for you. Lag is the worst especially when it completely gimps you and puts you at a disadvantage.
I literally levelled this hunter from scratch for tbc to pvp, this has really hit me hard.
Oof sorry to hear that buddy. I sincerely hope they re-look at this change and revert it.

I really hope they do, probably gonna unsub my two accounts if it’s more 200ms ping like on retail. Classic has been unique so far in that we got our own localised battlegroup… seems like that is no longer the case.
Hard to go back to 200ms once you have been used to 12ms for the entirety of classic.

Honestly is, I was so hype to play hunter and pvp this time around I was more of a raid priest back in the day.
Totally understandable.
I’m in the US playing on US servers with great internet and a great computer. I can tell you right now if I started lagging due to a change they made and it was losing me matches I would quit the game in a heartbeat.
