Nah more like their WoD
nah in cata i still enjoyed all my classes.
lmfao there is more to wow then LFR. Honestly you just made yourself look abit silly with that statement. But then been a newbie you wouldnât know. ooo btw have a good day. Iâm done with you. You have no idea.
WelI, I for one have never hated an expansion (I didnât play Cata tbh).
SO I bought a multi-month sub ⌠its the only reason I am still in SL. Itâs truly terrible - its the worst WoW experiences I have had and its not even close. I have 4 60âs and they are literally all exactly the some ilvl and are capped out with nothing to do but apply to the 2 or 3 M+ groups or fail trying to form a M+ group each night ⌠and thatâs it. Iâve just never experienced being completely progression blocked at this point in an expo without anything interesting to do. Even gemming up my gear in the MaW would be something to focus on if the MaW wasnât so terrible.
Cataclysm wasnât as bad as people say it was, most of the time itâs people just parroting âCata bad!â but they never actually played it. Even veteran players these days could easily have started playing after Cataclysm, since it came out a decade ago.
It was the expansion where Blizzard tried to give players everything theyâd been asking for, and bit off far more than they could chew. They were riding high off Wrath, and thought it could be done, but only partially succeeded. Nearly every single feature and change added in Cata were things that the playerbase had been clamouring for.
Much of the drop off can be explained by the fact that Wrath felt like a natural stopping point for a lot of players. It finished the main story arc that had put Warcraft on the map in a bigger fashion, the world was getting revamped, and someone who had started playing in Vanilla had, at that point, been playing for six years.
That said, threads like this pop up every single expansion, many gamers just have the memories of goldfish while also thinking theyâre smarter than other people.
Every expansion this team makes is this teamâs Cataclysm.
I thought I was the only one that liked Cata.
Cataclysm was the best expansion, and this one is up there as one of the best already too, so yeah, possibly!
Correct.
Really? Somebody trying to throw their weightless achievments around is not just as silly?
Seeing as we both share achievements from over a decade ago, but only one of us has made any real experience in that time, yeah, bye bb
I feel like the initial decline after Cataâs launch was more to do with people feeling like Warcraftâs story was âdoneâ after The Lich King than any actual incompetency.
The fact that WoW canât hold new subs from a brand new expansion for more than a few months is a bad thing no matter how you look at it.
Thereâs not really an excuse. The Dev team (Except the Art/Music team) are absolutely pits-poor at what they do in terms of providing content.
Who in their right mind genuinely thought that Torghast would be fun to do without rewards?
Once again Ghostcrawler was never the game director of WoW . Before Ion it was Tom Chilton and before that it was Jeff Kaplan .
Kaplan : Vanilla-WOTLK
Chilton : Cata - until Legion release
Ion : Legion -
No he was a Lead Systems Designer . He was an actual Dev. He was just willing to communicate with the players.
frost mage isnât top tier tho.
Nothing like spending a leisurely Saturday arguing whether the lawyer or the fish doctor made better video games.
Cataclysm was miles better so no.
Wow has lost 40ish % of their player base since MoP. Thatâs 5 expansions lol. The only reason it didnât happen in vanilla, tbc and wotlk is cause the game was super new then and the big lore characters carried the game for A LOT of people.
Shadowlands started with the most players out of all wow xpacs which means 13+million players. If we lost 42% of that then theirs still 7.5+ Million concurrent subs lol. The game is far from dead.
Yeah I was pretty disappointed in the 9.1 reveal. Hopefully they add more into it
Isnât that just the rest of the world? The US is padding the stats on corona virus like they are going for some kind of a record ![]()
If that is what you remember about Legion then you didnât play launch.
Players unable to swap specs for a year because artifact power gain was so low they couldnât afford to not spend it on their main, legendary acquisition rates being borked and the hidden legendary cap meaning high end players were rolling 4+ of the same spec character just so they could try and fish for a good legendary.
Classes being shallow husks of specs unless you had all of your golden dragons as the specs all experienced massive pruning.
I mean that is just two issues brushing the surface. I can promise you noone loved getting some terrible utility legendary that didnât improve their role but due to receiving it made themselves ineligible to acquire another better legendary that actually worked for their role.
New really with 27850 ach point no Iâm not been play since I was 48 62 now tyvm.
only took you 3 years to reply to him , impressive.
