Who else seems to be unable to complete the pinewood post section of Sojourner of Ohn’ahran Plains?

Same issue on my end. Can’t complete pinewood post, scout watu not giving a quest

I figured it out. There’s a step before where you need a dropped quest from the lightning beast mobs to the east of the post. i got it to drop off of a deer. this resumes the quest

Item drops off red stags that are covered in thunder east of Scout watu. Drops stormtouched shards quest.

this was what I was missing. heading east, found all the guys with thunder. after that the stags outside the camp with lightning dropped quest item after 1 kill. tyvm
