Is RMT, GDKP, and Gold Buying banned yet?

Hes just parroting it around because hes anti gdkp and he thinks its amusing people who do gdkps can be banned even if innocent.

This is all this is.

Again i have yet to actually see anyone be banned for receiving gold in gdkp in the 5+ years i have done them.

This seems to be more like fear mongering than anything serious.

lol good luck! Again, alternatively, you could just not run a loot system that potentially fills your pocket with RMT gold! You seem to both believe that’s what’s happening, and not want to be held responsible for it. Thoughts?

I don’t need to justify it. It’s their policy. You can screech about it, or you can easily avoid being affected by it like most players do. It’s a good policy to have, cause otherwise how do you distinguish between straight gold buyers laundering and actual innocent “didn’t know” players?

Just because it is the official policy doesn’t mean you have to agree with it.

I mean you have to abide by it, but not agree with it two separate things.

I agree with it because I see the problem its trying to address and I think it’s appropriate. It’s an extremely easy policy not to be affected by.

He loves it cuz hes anti gdkp, this is literally all this is.

The amount of players in here who want to benefit from RMT gold without being banned for it is funny. If you want to avoid being banned for accepting RMT gold it is very simple: Don’t join GDKPs. If you do, you are accepting the risk that you will receive RMT gold unless you are playing with people you trust to have not bought gold, this typically only extends to trusted guild members or friends. If you are so greedy for gold that you cannot stop yourself from joining GDKPs while KNOWING that there is a good chance that someone in there has bought gold, that is entirely your fault. You have the ability to NOT join those groups, you have the ability to raid normally.

The same way Blizzard expects us to distinguish RMT players and legitimate players perhaps?

That’s what they’re doing with this policy lol

Ok, so by that logic ban players who have ever purchased an auction, traded directly or indirectly with another player if it involved RMT.

Incredibly stupid take just like this argument with you.

Blizz must be anti GDKP too then?

If you show patterns of RMT on the AH you get banned too. Sorry your argument has no legs

Says the nameless, faceless troll with who hasn’t presented one ounce of empirical proof yet.

No they arent or all gdkps would be banned.

I get your latching onto something that happens maybe 1 out of 10,000 gdkps rofl.

Theres like 1-3 people on the support forum who claim this happened to…

In what 5+ years of classic?

Still here doing gdkps daily.

Still no action on me.

I don’t think anybody wants RMT gold in their account.

GDKPs are allowed as per numerous blue posts.

How trusted is trusted? and what if they beak that trust by lying about if they bought gold or not?

Also the percentage of RMT gold in GDKPs is less then the RMT gold that flows through the AH.

Every answer you seek is in the comment you are cherry picking from.

This is exactly it. If you’re concerned about being caught up in a ban because of this policy, then you are clearly aware you’ve been collecting RMT’d gold and don’t care because it’s going in your pocket.

You’re content to be part of the problem until you get repercussions for it.

What do you want me to prove exactly? There’s a green post in this thread saying the same thing, which links Blue posts also saying the same thing.

You’re sad at the answer and I get that, but please join us in reality.

They sure are, but if you’re routinely collecting RMT’d gold in them you’re susceptible to a ban.

That is legit your problem. Figure it out. That’s the risk you run when you GDKP. I hope that’s abundantly clear.

Now this needs some proof.

It must be since i have done 5+ years of gdkp and not a single action on my account.

This entire chain was me asking about how does one provide evidence if a player IS or ISN’T involved with RMT. Now your reeling with strawman’s referring to blue/green posts that have nothing to do with the actual question in hand, which again is.

“You should just know” is the laziest, most ridiculous justification in the history on this forum.

I think you need a grip on what’s reality.
