Is ret paladin really that bad?

In what context? PvP or PvE? Both?

Iā€™d like to see Vendetta on a 10 minute cool down, and cannot be reset on boss resets in PvE. To add to that, cheat death, vanish, and kidney shot removed. ALSO to add to that, increase DRs by 500%.

Retā€™s are average in Arenaā€™s. Their rediculous burst is countered by literally any team with a purge and a slow which is a majority of comps. We are also rather easy to kill after bubble is down but we are still viable for high ratings, just takes more effort and coordination.

RBGā€™s are fun as ret. Teams tend to be less coordinated than in Arenaā€™a and you can put out alot of pressure due to this. Utility spells are also fun. I would say ret is worth giving a melee spot to if your comp allows it but is generally not preferred vs other melee options

Mythic+ is above average. We are great for reaping and LoH/BoP is great to have. You can also talent into WoG which does respectable healing for certains dungeons/affixes (bursting).

Raid teams like to have rets from what I gather. Rets can heal themselves and others in periods of time damaging the boss isnā€™t an option (Think Mekka when you have to LoS bomb or intermission phase), SoV absorbs alot of damage, bubble when you mess up. Rotation doesnā€™t put you to sleep and we put out good damage.

Just my thoughts ^^
